The person behind the desk did not explain the contact when he wanted me to sign it. He did not make eye contact at all. Outside of the car was dirty. He upgraded my car to a SUV without informing me in advance. I only knew when he gave me the keys. I didn’t want a bigger car. But took it anyway. The price offer for tool pay was $10 more than what was advertised in the store. Thanks!

Adjusted time of rental and adjusted fee as well. First car had mechanical problems. Exchanged with no questions asked and done so promptly. New vehicle while clean did smell of cigarettes.

Minivan

Very happy with the price for a van. We were helping someone move and the agent put the seats down for us in a Chevy Pacifica. That made it perfect for stowing all her stuff. The van was easy to drive and used very little gas. The agent was friendly.

Worse rental experience ever. I reserved a pickup truck at the local store. One hour before I left to get the car, they called to let me know they did not have a pickup truck but failed to offer alternatives. Because I needed the car that day, I called their customer service and they told me to go to the airport to get one. Mind you the new reservation at the airport is costing me $30 extra. What made it worse is that I drove 40 min to get to the airport and still no pickup truck available. I basically lost my day trying to obtain a pickup truck thay i dully reserved (twice).

I booked a rental car literally one month in advance and when I showed up to the location, they casually let me know that they didn't have any such cars available for me and that I would have to wait four more hours until the next one became available. I was shocked and disappointed at the level of service and care provided to me and will not be using their service in the future.

My plans were all in place and required detail and...as I was walking out the door to pick up my car(10 minutes away)...I was called and told that no cars of any kind were available at the off-airport location! Why did it accept my rental reservation and...at the very least...called the night before! Unforgivable and something I shall not forget!

The key fob battery didn’t work. It was hard to lock and unlock doors and once I couldn’t start the car. I was afraid to go to a store because I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to unlock the car if I locked it. There were no key holes in the doors. They wouldn’t bring me a replacement battery. They were friendly. Car smelled like marijuana and that didn’t get better.

Pros:

I made the reso with 48.00 rate, I released I made a mistake seconds after I made it. I called and switched the location, I was told on the phone I would not be charged a new rate. I have the call transcripts, date, time and person. I get to richmond and yep you charged me the higher rate. I am not happy and I am letting American Express deal with it. I do not have time to be ripped off by companies.

Staff was friendly.

Cons:

I reserved a large SUV and called two days early to ensure the car would be ready and move the pick-up and return a few hours early. When I arrived they did not have a large SUV and offered a Suburban. I was okay with that but they said there would be an additional charge, and I would need to bring it back a day early or pay a fee. Surprises at pick-up usually aren't good.
