I’m glad the bus waited for me to connect me to my next flight since we were delayed. Flight was good.
We had a 1 1/2 hour delay before we left Denver. When we arrive to Frankfort, they didn’t announce that people with connecting flights to exit the plane first. My next flight was already boarding when we we taxiing in to the gate. I waited another 10 minutes to get off the plane. I had to run to catch my next flight. I mean run! I made it with one minute to spare, but my luggage did not. My luggage came two hours later on a different flight.
Flew on a relatively old Airbus A340. Must have been one of the tightest economy seats I've ever experienced in a 2-4-2 setup. Seat doesn't recline much, and you're basically sitting up-right for the entire 11+ hours. Meal service was curt. The hot/warm dish was half squished causing some of the contents to squeeze out and make a mess when it was tossed onto the tray. TV screen is small for this day and age, and the USB didn't work to charge anything either. However there are lots of movies and tv shows, so that was good.
Lufthansa charged me $280 to take skiiis when in the US the boot bag and skiis are one check-in bag. This was not advertised and a real shock at the airport. They only took the boot bag as a check-in item. The seats have been squeezed together like any economy airline and legroom is not as good as it used to be. Otherwise, the flight was fine and staff was helpful for making my connection.
I wouldn't recommend Lufthansa otherwise. We took this flight only because our flight to Kittilä got cancelled and Lufthansa offered a replacement which would have been two days later, with a night in Frankfurt and another in Munich. We refused the replacement but the staff at the airport entered in the system claiming that we accepted the replacement.. We didn't get the full refund because of this.
The flight was comfortable, which allowed me to get some sleep, much appreciated!
Because of the fog at the Frankfurt airport, our flight was delayed leaving Budapest. We only had 20 minutes to get from A23 to C13. This was quite a walk for this not-so-young anymore lady--even with the help of moving sidewalks! We also had to go through passport control and then security. Germany is extra thorough, even doing pat-downs of all passengers. We got to our gate and I knew I had been randomly selected for extra security scanning because of the "SSSS" code on my boarding pass so I wasn't surprised when he escorted me back to security to be searched some more. The boarding gate gentleman assured me that they would hold the plane. The ladies in security rushed through the scanning process as fast as they could and we were able to make our flight to Orlando. The actual flight was smooth and comfortable. The food and service were excellent. The flight crew were friendly and efficient.
Did not happen. Cancelled and rebooked on flight to Frankfurt and then to Berlin. Lost luggage at Frankfurt change.
They gave us free up grade to a roomier seat.
Paid for aisle seat and got a middle seat in back. One of the more uncomfortable flights I have been on. Impossible to get a refund.
Boarding was efficient. Flight left on time. Wasn’t full so we could spread out a bit. Food was ok.
I love British Airlines but I think it’s time for a change.My seat was occupied by very large passengers sitting next to me,I felt very uncomfortable and very bad.I’m sorry but I have to say it.
the boarding was a disaster, the departure was late, we missed the connection flight and we were told they don't care, after a few trips between support and personnel on the ground
There was no legroom whatsoever to the point where my wife dropped her phone and was unable to retrieve it as she couldn’t move. The sound system for the entertainment had a broken socket so was effectively out of action as it just crackled. Just dreadful, I will actively avoid BA in the future
It was just ok. Half the bathrooms were broke on the flight.
Horrible. The Athens to London flight was horrible. At some point there was a long piece of toilet paper on the corridor floor for 30min, crew were stepping over it. Only picked up when they rolled out the garbage cart. Not a pleasant site. The whole experience reminded me of easy jet. Not worth the price.
Good flight. Not a lot of legroom, but it was fine for a short flight.
Nice flight. Legroom was good. Food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plane was modern and clean. Seats and headrests were comfortable. Entertainment system was good and modern, with a bright LCD screen and many appealing choices.
Nice experience. Baggage arrival in Mumbai wasn't that quick and needs improvement.
Our headphone plug in was broken, especially we are with 5 years old who like to watch a movie
