FAQs - booking South Korea flights

  • Which airport should I fly into for Seoul?

Seoul has two main airports: Seoul Incheon Airport and Seoul Gimpo Airport (GMP). Gimpo Airport is slightly closer to the city centre, and you may find you get through Immigration faster, as it is a smaller airport. Incheon is ideal for anyone booking a connecting flight through Seoul, as there are more facilities where you can rest during a stopover.

  • How can I get between Seoul’s airports?

If you’re looking for the cheapest flights from India to Korean cities outside of Seoul, you may find routes that include an airport transfer. Usually, you’ll arrive at Incheon Airport, and then transfer to Gimpo for your domestic flight. Luckily, there is an Airport Railroad (AREX) All Stop Train that will transfer you in around 35 minutes.

  • How do I get from Jeju Airport to Jeju City?

If you visit the island of Jeju, you’ll arrive at Jeju Airport (CJU). There’s a bus from the airport to Jeju City that only takes around 25 minutes, which runs from 06:00 to 22:50. If you arrive outside this time, you’ll need to take a taxi or hire your own car.

  • Where are the car hire desks at Seoul Incheon Airport?

You can find car hire companies at Incheon Airport close to Exit 2 in Terminal 1. If you arrive at Terminal 2, head to B1 West to find the Transportation Centre. Some companies don’t have desks at the airport, but may arrange transportation to their offices or bring a vehicle to the airport for you.

  • How does KAYAK find such low prices on flights from India to South Korea?

KAYAK is a travel search engine. That means we look across the web to find the best prices we can find for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from India to South Korea.

  • How does KAYAK's flight Price Forecast tool help me choose the right time to buy my flight ticket from India to South Korea?

KAYAK’s flight Price Forecast tool uses historical data to determine whether the price for a flight from India to South Korea is likely to change within 7 days, so travellers know whether to wait or book now.

  • What is the Hacker Fare option on flights from India to South Korea?

Hacker Fares allow you to combine one-way tickets in order to save you money over a traditional return ticket. You could then fly from India to South Korea with an airline and back with another airline.

Horrendous. We upgraded and they took the money but cancelled one of our tickets. The recline action didn’t work on the seats for the flight from Singapore to London, pre booked meals but they seemed to have disappeared as well.. Phone customer service was horrendous. Took 5 phone calls and no fix. Craig at the airport was the only one who seemed to be able to get the ticket back.

Very good flight from Boarding to landing -efficient and comfortable with decent entertainment options

Loved the airline with the exception of their carry on limitations. They enforce a strict 7 kilo limit for carry on baggage which is ridiculous. We traveled from SFO to SIN with carry on with no difficulty yet when we checked in Delhi they forced us to check the carry on bags. The weight of our carry on bags were 11 and 12 kilos and while they exceeded the limitations set by Singapore Airlines they were well under weight limitations set by may other carriers. Interestingly my wife and I were each allowed two 22 KG bags to check in addition to the 7 kg carry on for a total weight of 102 KG's. Our total weight with the one bag we planned to check and our two carry ons was 46 kgs.

Food could have been better. Too many passengers getting up and down all the time.

Delayed 1hour due to storm still didn't get window seat for third flight despite paying £240 extra to book them

It was very good experience on board to Sydney with SQ.

I very much liked and appreciated the service on board. The seating arrangement in Business feels uncomfortable. It's not made for tall people, in any case.

Great airline. Excellent service, good food & lots of TV movies/shows to choose from.

Really enjoyed the flight. Our flight attendant on the way back SIN-LAX was exceptional I didn’t get her name but she was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I had a bit of a panic attack and she checked on me a few times to make sure I was ok. Really appreciated her attention and service. Thank u

Overall, very good. The food was better than expected with the exception of the pork and potatoes dinner at the end of the flight. My family all selected that dish and did not set it. I tried a bite also and it was honestly terrible. Also, it would be helpful to know when the snacks in the back of the plane are available.

I bought the front row seat and made and early online check in but they changed my seat to the back row without prior notice. The inflight meal was too poor, only a piece of small finger food. The boarding is a disaster, everyone is stuffed in a bus in chaos. Doesnt worth the money at all.

Poor. Flight was delay without prior notice. Poor boarding. Poor meal service. Plane was dirty and smelly. Does not worth the money.

Overall very nice airline. The seats were cloth unlike leather seats I am accustom to on planes. The food was adequate. I had to use a paper boarding pass as they do not like electronic boarding passes. I scanned my electronic pass, but the gate agent requested the paper pass. Luckily I had a paper pass, although my electronic pass worked and when the paper pass was scanned it stated I was already on board.

Overall very nice airline. The seats were cloth unlike leather seats I am accustom to on planes. The food was adequate.

I am a bit upset with the check in counter, I signed up a wheelchair for my mom so they wouldn’t grant us her boarding pass. We got to the airport a couple of hours earlier and they had us wait and no one ever gave us her boarding pass or the wheelchair, I had to go back and complain when it was already time for our flight to board. Since we got their earlier, I could have easily pushed my mom myself and we could have relaxed and went to the lounge while waiting… when I finally got someone to help us he couldn’t explain how and why they dismissed us in the first place.

Was on holiday with my partner and we booked with Vietnam airlines as it not meant to be a budget airline. They separated us and made us sit at either end of the plane. Not the way I planned to spend my time on my holiday separate from my loved one. How can they separate people on the same booking. They know we are together and spending quality time together.

I had sometimes my trips with Vietnam Airlines and I like it 😊

The check-in process was great, and I cannot remember the name of the supervisor, but he was good and told us about the transit process very correctly and efficiently and kindly. We were given down access and the overall process was very efficient.

The plane had a technical problem it would delayed 10 hours but they just gave limited information and put all passengers into the Miracle lounge. Ther were not enough chairs and so on.

Ensure there is a choice of food for all customers and also enough food

Special request meals are really below average. Vegetarian options are very limited if you didn't prebook.

So so, crew was overly professional and lacks human touch. Equipment is very old, especially the HKG-PVG CX366 flight. That plane along with its decor must have twenty years of history, or at least I had that impression.

I have a Peanut Allergy and the Steward staff were very accommodating in ensuring my safety as my allergy is life threatening. Very professional and so vested in their profession.

Crew was great. But a bit understaffed. The business class seat, etc were dated. But comfortable. Some legs had entertainment system from a decade ago. Selections were rather poor. Food was mediocre at best. Actually poor for business class standards. I liked the lounge in Hong Kong. Showers were great. Food was nice.

The flight was delayed for 30 mins. The overall experience was good.

Highly impressive. On time. Smooth and fast boarding and disembarkment. Really great service

Overall, it was ok. However, the food was very sub-par.

When comes to Taiwan airlines China airlines is the best rest are pure trash

flight delayed 45 mins - missed connection - 1 hr layover became 8 hr layover waiting for next flight -

Baggage delayed for 2 days and still chasing for reimbursement of basis items. Very horrible customer care service.

Our flight was 3 hours delayed and the airport was hectic as our boarding pass said one gate while the digital screens said another gate. Attendants were clueless and said to watch both! Vietjwt cared more about selling their merch than even providing any water for the 2 hour flight

Cheap flight but more expensive when the airlines demands you pay over 30$ for 1 kilogram overweight ( it is 8,2kg I have for carry on baggage) The flights announcement 2PM, and it departed 4 PM, no announcement for delaying, People says Vietjet is delayJet airlines in their blood.

Vietjet tried to steal extra money from passengers by forcing them to change the name on the ticket that was correctly filled in on an English form online when ticket bought online. I bought the ticket via a foreign website where the language is English, At filling in the passenger's name, it says middle name first, then first name, and last name, That the ticket done and printed. when my wife checked in the staff at the check in counter said that her name was written wrong, she must fill the name in Vietnamese style, writing the Last name first, then middle name, first name comes last, even though her name was not misspelled. At the aiport I asked the Vietjet customer service, if it is written in Vietnamese way, it will be wrong when she travel abroad ? The custom service could not answer. It took over an hour where my wife was thrown like a ball between the check-in counter, to the Vietjet customer service , then to passport control. The cost is 110,000 vnd for change place in vietnamese way, I thought if there are millions of passengers who have done the same mistake, how much money Vietjet raked in every year On the flight, it is not allowed to sit in the empty seats in front or next to me, I sat in the middle in a row where two big men were sitting, I really need to change seats but the crew asked to pay extra to buy the empty seats. It is petty and cruel of Vietjet. There is no other choice than the state-owned airline, then you have no choice but to swallow the bite

Our flight was delayed for about 3hours however the ground crew made it sure that we will not miss our connecting flight from Hanoi to incheon.

If there could be simple free food or snack or some entertainment.

Seat pitch is narrow moreover the agent assigned seat in front of emergency exit window which is not reclined. A terrible 4hr 40min flight from HAN to DPS

Horrible! As an Asian, they look down on their own skin color. Disgusting people and airlines. If you are white, they will worship you

1-Airlines did not send any info to inform the clients about changing fight number. 2-Delayed too long on runay without any explanation

체크인을 담당하는 승무원이 아주, 몹시 불친절하고 전문성이 현저하게 떨어졌습니다. The flight attendant in charge of the check-in was very, very unfriendly and markedly less professional.

VietJet was 2 hours late, but Kayak is not able to track my travel correct.

Why should I rate entertainment if I’ve not used? You don’t have NA - Not Applicable option.

my experience with kayak was terrible. Team kayak just left me with a booking and limbo and preffered not to contact me.. Instead when I contacted the team they said the booking is cancelled. Seriously 5 days after booking u were waiting of my call to inform me of the incompetence of the team. This will be taken up with higher authorities

only passenger seats are too much narrow. It’s not comfortable otherwise it’s good. Seats are very important because it’s main in Travel

Miss my flight from delhi to amritsar due to lock the luggage door of airplane.and there was no more flight even for next days and they not refund the fare. I took bus grom delhi.. bad experiance.

very run down aircraft. seat tilted. the mobile / magazine holder was broken. The entertainment screen was not working. The crew was good, polite and helpful

Boarding was through bus even though aerobridges were empty. Major mess

Food is good, staff is good... Wi-fi quality is poor, disembarkment after landing is atrocious.

Flight crew was lovely. Bathrooms should have been cleaner. The handsets in business class for watching the entertainment are horrible. Very difficult to figure out which buttons are for what. I managed to get the flight maps on my screen but it wasn't easy. Never got anything else up.

Uneventful trip. Good flight crew. Food could have been better and a bit more of it. Cabin cleanliness was ok.

Extremely bad experience compared to Vistara. No priority in check in, no priority for boarding. No upgrade. Seat selection is paid. Curtains were dirty. Demo bag was dirty. Warmth of the crew was missing.
